Lynn Stanley has kindly
said she will organise a garden party on 22nd June 2008. Come along and
help to "Blow the Whistle on Lung Disease”. The
garden parties in the past have been a terrific success, so why not
come and see for yourselves. Anyone of any age and
ability can take part. Activities include stalls such as a tombola and
bric-a-brac and not forgetting that your entry ticket not only gets you
a cup of coffee or tea and a piece of cake, but also enters you into
the raffle draw. Any ideas, help and donations would be
appreciated. Please contact Lynn on 01889 500566.
This years Midlands Lung
Run takes place on 27th April 2008 and marks the 15th year
of the
event. There are 2k, 5k and 10k runs
through Sutton Park to cater for all different levels of entrants.
T-shirt for all entrants, medals for all finishers
and prizes for all participants. It's
a great morning out for keen runners, families, schools and company
teams alike on traffic-free parkland roads. Join us! There are three
races you can choose to take part in:
-

(17years and over) at 10am
-
